Remote Golf Travel organises escorted golf tours to some of the world’s most astonishing golf courses. We offer tours to Argentina & Bolivia and Nepal & Bhutan. These countries may not be known as mainstream golf travel destinations, but trust us, they offer truly spectacular golf courses. Enjoy the experience of playing some of the world’s most remote and unknown courses and experience an exciting alternative to the usual golfing holiday. Though the courses we visit may not qualify as the world’s most meticulously manicured, or offer the most luxurious clubhouse facilities they can variously claim to be the world’s most southerly, highest, most spectacular and perhaps most remote. Our tours are also about cultural activities and include visits to local tourist attractions. Away from the golf course tours involve trips(included?) to the spectacular ‘Tigers Nest’ monastery in Bhutan, which sits on the side of a cliff 900 feet above the valley floor, the historic temples of Kathmandu, morning mountain flights over Everest, sailing through the Beagle channel in southern Argentina, as well as a visit to Bolivia’s thundering Iguazu Falls.

Nepal & Bhutan
Visit the historic mountain Kingdoms of Nepal & Bhutan and admire ancient temples and monasteries, massive snow-capped Himalayan peaks, as well as some spectacular golf courses.

Be one of the few foreign golfers to play in these Himalayan countries. In Nepal enjoy rounds at the Gokarna Forest Golf Club and the Royal Nepal Golf Club in Kathmandu followed by the Himalayan Golf Club at Pokhara. In Bhutan we play at the exclusive Royal Thimpu Golf Club.

This tour takes in the Nepalese capital of Kathmandu, followed by the tranquil lakeside town of Pokhara. From Nepal you will then fly to the unforgettable Kingdom of Bhutan, visiting the Paro valley and the country’s fascinating capital, Thimpu.

As well as golfing, the tour includes visits to the major tourist attractions so that you get chance to see the rich and historic culture of this region. You will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the high-qualty hotels that we stay at, as well as the exquisite local cuisine.

Argentina & Bolivia
Visit some of South America’s most spectacular golf courses while also enjoying the stunning landscapes, rich history and wonderful culture of this unique part of the world.

In Buenos Aries our tour offers the chance to play golf at the superb Jockey Club and at the highly-rated Olivos Golf Club. Then, depending on the itinerary, you could be playing the most southerly golf course in the world at Ushuaia, or instead play a round close to the magnificent Iguazu Falls. The tour’s stunning finale is the highest course in the world at the La Paz Golf Club, Bolivia.

We run two alternative tours to these countries, depending on the time of year. Both itineraries begin in Buenos Aires, the vibrant and cosmopolitan capital of Argentina. In the summer months we visit Ushuaia at the southern tip of Argentina, before travelling on to La Paz. In the winter, when golf in Ushuaia is impossible, we visit the thundering Iguazu Falls and then continuing on to La Paz.
