The magnificent Iguazu Falls provides a fabulous setting for playing golf and our trip will visit the Iguassu Golf Club , which is located on the Brazilian side of the falls, a couple of miles from the actual site.

This 6983 yard layout offers an excellent challenge with many lakes and well-placed bunkers waiting to catch you out.

The course, set within the tropical forest, provides an ideal opportunity to see various tropical birds such as toucans, parrots and woodpeckers.

In Buenos Aires our two weeks of awesome golf travel will begin with a round at the exquisite Olivos Golf Club.

This classic parkland course, 30 minutes drive from the city, is considered one of the finest in South America and a regular on the Argentine Open rota. The golf course was designed in the 1920s and is 6704 yards long from the back tees.

This challenging English style course's narrow fairways and testing greens reward accuracy while also offering the wayward golfer the chance of recovery. The lakes that come in to play on the 15th and 16th holes provide a real test.

Buenos Aires Golf Club was chosen as the "Best South American Course" by Golf Digest Magazine and hosted the millennium 2000 World Cup Matches, won by the US team of Tiger Woods and David Duvall.

Located 30 minutes from the city centre, this 27 hole course is built around a huge system of connected lakes and wetlands, including some that are adjacent to elevated fairways

In Bolivia we will be golfing in the clouds, playing at La Paz Golf Club, the highest golf course in the world at 3246m above sea level. At this course the soft sandstone that surrounds the city has been sculpted over time into canyons and pinnacles, creating an extraordinary lunar landscape – and one of the most unique golf courses around. Your shots travel much further at this altitude so control is the key around these marvellous 18 holes.

Depending on the season the tour may instead involve a visit to the Patagonian town of Ushuaia and the most southerly golf course in the world, Ushuaia Golf Club. At the southern tip of South America, and next to the Tierra del Fuego National Park, this is a spectacular course with the Isla Navarino Mountains providing a thrilling backdrop. The narrow, gently undulating fairways, small greens and an ever-present western wind make this a challenging test for even the most skilled golfer.
